404: Women's Health Not Found (So She Built It Herself)

Tuesday 12:00 - 00:00

Melissa Ablett-Jordan

CEO

Linkedin Meer over deze spreker
Women wait longer for diagnoses, their conditions are underfunded and under-researched, and that data gap runs straight into the AI systems being built to help. But there's a second gap hiding behind the first: even where the data exists, almost nobody is building the solutions. In this fireside chat, Melissa Ablett-Jordaan, founder of Sibyl, sits down with Oliviana Bailey, Co-CEO of AI4ALL, to talk about both gaps and what it actually takes to close them. Melissa didn't wait for someone else to fix the problem. After her own experience with pregnancy loss, she built Sibyl, an AI companion for reproductive loss, without a technical co-founder and without a roadmap. She and Oliviana will get into what that really looked like: the entrepreneurial reality of building an AI healthcare startup from the non-technical side, the workarounds, the hard calls, and the case for why more women need to stop waiting for the market to catch up and start building it themselves.
