Building with Agents: Creating Nexis+ AI and Transforming Development
Tuesday 12:00 - 00:00

CTO
AI agents are reshaping enterprise technology in two important ways. They are changing the products organizations build, and they are changing how those products are developed.
In this session, Snehit Cherian, CTO of Global Nexis Solutions at LexisNexis, shares lessons from both sides of this transformation.
The first part of the session focuses on building Nexis+ AI, LexisNexis' agentic SaaS platform. Snehit provides an overview of LexisNexis and RELX's approach to AI innovation, including relationships with leading LLM providers, before introducing the core concepts behind AI agents and agentic architectures. He then explores the frameworks, design decisions, and lessons learned while building a secure, scalable enterprise solution.
The second part focuses on agentic development itself. Drawing on firsthand experience with tools such as Claude Code, Snehit examines how AI-powered development workflows are changing the software engineering lifecycle, influencing how teams design, build, test, and deliver software. He also shares lessons from the broader technology transformation required to adopt agentic ways of working.
Gain practical insights into:
- LexisNexis and RELX's approach to AI innovation and LLM partnerships
- What AI agents are and why they matter for enterprise software
- Building a secure, scalable agentic SaaS solution
- Framework selection and lessons learned from developing Nexis+ AI
- Using Claude Code and agentic development techniques
- Transforming engineering workflows through agentic development
- Security, governance, and scalability considerations that apply across both contexts
The session offers a practical perspective on building with agents, both as a product capability and as a new approach to software engineering.
