They are becoming decision-capable actors inside the enterprise operating model , recommending actions, optimising operations and executing decisions on behalf of the business. That changes the leadership question. It is not whether we trust the model. It is whether we trust the business decisions agents are empowered to make, and who remains accountable when those decisions create value or introduce risk or affect customers. Traditional AI governance covers models, data and technical controls. But governing the technology is not the same as governing the decisions it enables.
