Who Owns Business Decisions in the Age of AI Agents?

Tuesday 12:00 - 00:00
null
Anindita Misra

Director of AI & AI Governance

Linkedin Meer over deze spreker
AI agents are no longer just software components. They are becoming decision-capable actors inside the enterprise operating model , recommending actions, optimising operations and executing decisions on behalf of the business. That changes the leadership question. It is not whether we trust the model. It is whether we trust the business decisions agents are empowered to make, and who remains accountable when those decisions create value or introduce risk or affect customers. Traditional AI governance covers models, data and technical controls. But governing the technology is not the same as governing the decisions it enables. This session sets out a decision governance model built on three questions: 1. Decision ownership : who remains accountable for each decision delegated to an agent? 2. Human oversight : where does human judgement stay essential, and what does meaningful oversight look like in practice? 3. Business value : is autonomy producing better outcomes, or just automating what already existed? Drawing on experience leading enterprise AI transformation and responsible AI in a global industrial organisation, Anindita Misra shows how to move from controlling AI risk to designing trusted autonomous enterprises. You will leave with a framework to assess whether your organisation is ready to delegate decisions to AI agents while maintaining accountability, trust and measurable business value.
