Alma Joy Ridderhof is coördinator data economie bij de ACM. Hiervoor werkte zij bij het Ministerie van Financiën en bij DG CONNECT van de Europese Commissie. Bij ACM houdt zij zich bezig met toezicht op de Data Act.

Sinds november 2025 is de ACM officieel als toezichthouder aangewezen om toezicht te houden op de Data Act en sinds mei 2026 versterkt Alma Joy het team dat hier toezicht op houdt. Zij is op de Data Expo om met mensen te spreken over wat de Data Act betekent voor Nederlandse bedrijven en consumenten.
