Legal Director Compliance

Cassandra acts as the Legal Director & Data Protection Officer, heading the Compliance team in TomTom responsible for Privacy, AI, Product and Corporate Compliance. She is a seasoned legal and compliance expert, specialized in privacy / GDPR, AI, connected cars, autonomous driving, navigation software and location technology. Cassandra is a regular keynote speaker at international conferences to address AI, tech, privacy and compliance to C-level executives.

Before joining TomTom, Cassandra worked as in-house legal counsel in different international business units of ING (2007-2013) and she joined the fastest growing Benelux online retailer Coolblue (2014-2018) where she was also responsible for the GDPR readiness program.
