Ger Janssen has a PhD in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. He joined Philips in 2001 in the computational modeling domain, and later started to focus on Digital twin, AI and hybrid intelligence, combining AI with computational modeling. He was head of the AI, Data Science & Digital Twin department in Philips Research before shifting focus on Responsible AI during the last years. Currently he is AI Ethics & Compliance Lead, and head of the Responsible AI Office in Philips.
