Data Laundering: How AI Turns Small Errors Into Confident Lies
Most AI projects don't fail on model quality — they fail on data quality. Gartner predicts 60% of unsupported AI projects will be abandoned through 2026, and the reason isn't dirty data: it's data that passes every clean-data check but isn't AI-ready. AI systems don't catch bad data, they launder it — scaling errors fast and wrapping them in false confidence, often without any visible failure. This talk gives you a practical lens for treating preprocessing as the real gate before AI touches anything that matters.
