Senior Inspector and Data Act Coordinator
Natalia Toeajeva-Elseman is a Senior Inspector within the Department of Systemic Supervision for Markets and Business (Systeemtoezicht Markt en Bedrijfsleven), as well as the Data Act Coordinator at the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Natalia is a legal expert specializing in data protection at the intersection of law and technology. Prior to joining the Dutch Data Protection Authority, she gained extensive experience as an attorney at law (advocaat) and legal counsel. She spent years advising both Dutch and international companies across various technology- and data-driven industries on contract law – with a strong focus on IT agreements – company law, and data protection.
In her role as Data Act Coordinator, Natalia oversees the implementation and enforcement of the Data Act within the AP. She will also be sharing her expertise during a dedicated Data Act workshop at this event. She is also keen to engage with companies to explore sector insights and understand their experiences and concerns related to the Data Act during the Data Expo.
