Roos Brekelmans is a Digital Innovation Accelerator at Vattenfall, where she explores emerging digital technologies, assesses their business impact, and brings them to life through workshops, talks, and hands-on experimentation. Her work focuses not only on what technology can do, but on what it should do - exploring the societal and organisational implications of innovations like AI, including their impact on employee well-being and the importance of responsible, fair, and sustainable use. Roos also teaches at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where she inspires students in the fields of digital innovation and AI. She is a regular speaker at events, known for translating complex topics around responsible digital innovation into practical, actionable insights. Roos holds an academic background in Business Administration, Literary and Media Studies, and Environmental Sciences, and brings a creative, multidisciplinary perspective to her work—fuelled by a love for languages, travel, detective fiction, and, occasionally, cats.
