Data, AI and machine learning hold great potential: To automate the repetitive part of our work and provide quality information, so we can focus on the human aspect: understanding complex challenges, making impactful decisions and detecting changes to the environment so we can quickly adapt. My background in psychology, experience as a data scientist and knowledge from my MBA allows me to see the connections between organizations, it’s people and their data and translate business needs to technical product capabilities (and even get my hands dirty with some coding!). In summary: I do what needs to be done to help your organization achieve the potential of AI to go from data to action!

From AI innovation to adopted product: How to survive the valley of death and emerge victorious!
The Netherlands faces a major challenge: To expand and future-proof our electrical grid. At my client Alliander, the research centre for digital technologies faces this challenge head-on by implementing cutting-edge AI, machine learning, digital twins and 3D object detection methods to reduce the time engineers need to design their assets. We discuss one example use-case that has seen great success and true business adoption. Finally, we extrapolate lessons learned that you can implement in your company to help your innovations survive the "valley of death" between innovation and implementation.
