Gavin Morgan leads the Global Data Platform at Rabobank. With 20+ years banking industry experience in data he has led the successful implementation of the Global Data Platform from the start to scale over the last 5 years. He learned from the lessons of failed data platforms and learned his own lessons along the way to navigate success.
Gavin leads not only a team of product managers delivering data platform services but also implemented a unique operating model of data management completely aligned with the platform and users. Throughout his career, Gavin has specialized in data warehousing, data governance, programme and project management of global implementation. He is driven by ensuring a clear value proposition, a clear strategy to achieve it and solid risk awareness and management to smooth the road to success.
His academic background is a Bsc in International Business with French at Aston University in Birmingham.

In this session, we share how Rabobank moved from a data platform to a true data marketplace by focusing on user experience. By combining producer and consumer research with measurable signals, we identified friction across the full journey and built an evidence-based roadmap to improve adoption and make the marketplace usable at scale
