My motto is "everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." Enthusiasm for technology is my primary driver. In my leadership position, I work to ensure technology-wise sensible decisions are made. My vision on agile and agile-management, Dev-Ops, software, infrastructure and the choices to be made when developing for highly available and disaster recoverable environments has proven itself many times over the years. As an engineer and C-level executive, I'm part of the EMEA office of the CTO, which is the technical authority across EMEA, and am closely engaged in our most strategic opportunities. In addition to being a technology evangelist, I'm the spouse of Margot, a father of two daughters and a son, and live in a small village in the Netherlands called Dalen. I regularly enjoy sailing, snowboarding, food & wine (preferably Italian or French) and walking with my vizsla in the forests around our home.
