At Cyso, Tjebbe is not only one of the founders but also serves as the CTO of Cyso Group and CEO of Cyso. He is responsible for the DevOps delivery team and sales. With a strong ability to merge technical design with realistic financial and economic constraints, he successfully implements progressive and innovative services. His motto: “Hosting solutions should make the client’s life easier.”
With a background in artificial intelligence and 28 years of experience in the Internet Service Provider (ISP) industry, Tjebbe has a solid foundation in developing advanced, knowledge-based services.
Specialties: Managed hosting, tailor-made services, network and cybersecurity, hosting solutions, network infrastructure, design and implementation of robust, redundant, and scalable systems, private cloud solutions, microservices architecture using Docker & Kubernetes, and fostering an agile DevOps environment.
Tjebbe de Winter was born on the island of Texel in 1975. During his childhood, his family briefly moved to Rotterdam before settling in Alkmaar, where he spent most of his youth. He studied Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam and later returned to Alkmaar, where he still resides in the city center with his wife, son, and daughter.
In his spare time, Tjebbe serves as a board member for various non-profit organizations (Scouting, NBIP/NaWas). During holidays, he enjoys taking his family skiing or sailing on Dutch and European waters.
